I just rewatched the episode and bawled (with "oh my god this is horrible" feelings) at the "hey, it's okay, DON'T WORRY, YOU WILL BE JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SOON AND IT WILL BE GREAT" post-"Argentina" scene.

MY SADNESS AND DISILLUSIONMENT CANNOT BE ASSUAGED
