What a game, what a game, what a fight the Rockies put up-- There will be more on this subject in the morning, after I have finished this homework that I am just starting now and after I have managed to stop shaking and laughing and sobbing simultaneously. But for now--

That was beautiful, frustrating, aggravating, nail-biting-inducing, exciting, unbelievable, and man, is Mike Lowell being a class act. Plus, let me just say right here that I love ALL the Red Sox players and they deserved to win. They outplayed the Rockies, and that's all there is to it, and wasn't Lester fabulous? And Papelbon? And Papi dancing on the champagne table with his goggles on in the locker room was a thing of beauty too, and I could go on and on and on about it.

However, I suspect you're at least as excited as I am and maybe even more.

We pulled out ALL our superstitions tonight and did all the things we did for every other winning game of the series, because you know it matters on a fundamental and universal level that we eat potato chips in the 8th inning, right?
