On the Road with Austin & Santino RPF
This is absolutely wonderful. It's from Santino's point of view, after On the Road with Austin & Santino is canceled (please don't come true in real life!! whoops, I am apparently slow on my entertainment news), and it's all about his friendship with Austin and how he slowly realizes how screwed he is, when it comes to his feelings. The just -- the descriptions and the narrative are absolutely beautiful, and the voices are dead-on and so, so funny (and also bittersweet). The callbacks to the show are wonderful. There is a joke about fuchsia mousseline that you won't understand if you don't know the show, but is perfection and made me laugh for days and days. They dance, and Austin is terrible at it; Austin busts out his very best southern belle. This makes me so happy.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE WRITER GAVE THE TWO GUYS THE NAMES I USE FOR THEM. HAHAHAHAHA ED IS A RED SOX FAN, YOU ARE ON MY F-LIST, AREN'T YOU. Whether the writer is or isn't (I have my suspicions!), this is fucking darling. It's set in the early days of their friendship and it is DORK-TASTIC and fabulously awkward, and there is a straight roommate who gives terrible advice and makes me howl. I can't believe fic for this fandom exists. I am so dsiugksdjgksg. BEYOND DELIGHTED! This is so funny and so sweet.

Scott Pilgrim comics
I asked for Wallace and Stacey teaming up and being made of win. I got the two of them trapping Scott in Thursday to try to make him grow up. I got SCOTT PILGRIM GROUNDHOG DAY FIC, GUYS, HAHAHAHA!! I mentioned my weakness for Groundhog Day fics in my Yuletide letter just for fun! I didn't think I'd actually get one! So happy right now! The voices in this are dead on; there are fabulous touches from the comics, like the time appearing in big black letters over Scott's head, and Scott having a Figuring It Out meter.

Ugly Betty
I am overwhelmed. My heart is going to explode. What is this feeling. Oh right I should probably mention what this is. It's Marc/Cliff, post-canon, where they have to work together on a photoshoot and it's 12,000 words and I am still reading it right now, even as I write commentary, and heart explode not even kidding freaking out. HEARTS IN MY EYES, HEARTS IN MY EYES. AMANDA. JUSTIN. WILI. BETTY AND DANIEL. GENTLEMEN.
You guys I just finished reading and I am freaking the fuck out. I don't even know what I can say in my comment on the fic. I laughed! I cried! I laughed more!

On the Road with Austin & Santino RPF
Today Santino is making a nuisance of himself. He's feeling punchy, one of those days when he has too much energy to sit still. He has, admittedly, a lot of those days. He sings loudly, made up songs about the pencil stuck into the little sprout of a top knot in Austin's hair, the sad life it leads trapped above the world, looking down past Austin's nose, watching life pass it by. It's a surprisingly upbeat number considering the subject matter. Santino does a little bit of soft shoe with one of the dress forms, catching the quick moment when Austin stops ignoring him long enough to glance up and shake his head.

You Belong With Me - University of Rochester Yellowjackets (Music Video)
It starts with a little white lie: “Oh, yeah, I’m totally nuts about baseball. I watch it whenever I can.”
That translates to this: “Oh, yeah, I’m totally nuts about you. I’ll listen to you talk about baseball all the time, because it’s important to you.”
That becomes this: “Um, sure, I’d love to watch the game with you. What, tonight? I mean, yes, tonight.”

Scott Pilgrim comics
The letters EIGHT A.M. appear bold and black over Scott’s face. He has drooled onto his pillow.
The phone rings.
Scott dives under his pillow like a ninja to face his attacker. The phone says STACEY PILGRIM. He opens it.
“Before you ask, yes, I’m late for my interview, no, I can’t figure out what the hell is going on, and I’m totally over Ramona,” says Scott.
“This is getting kind of pathetic,” Stacey says. “I really thought this would have worked by now. Are you even going to try to make it to your interview?”
Scott’s Figuring It Out Meter scootches up to 95.

Ugly Betty
The door to the bathroom is flung open and Amanda appears, hair tousled, skirt hitched halfway up her thighs, holding a white stick above her had in triumph. “I'm not pregnant!”
“Yeah,” Cliff says, taking another bite of pizza. “I kind of figured after the first three tests.”
“Oh, Mandy, not again,” Marc says sympathetically.
“Don't judge me,” she says, stressing each word dramatically. “You have no idea how hard it is being straight and pretty and fertile.” She eyes the pharmacy bag on the counter next to Cliff. “Maybe I should take the last test too, just in case.”
“Go for it,” Cliff says and hands her the bag.
She tosses the already used test up in the air and grabs the wine bottle from Marc's hand.
“I need to hydrate.” Then she heads straight for the bathroom and slams the door behind her.
Cliff looks down at the pregnancy test that has landed right in the pizza box. He looks a little bit nauseous. “I'm so not an expert in these matters,” he says wearily, “but she peed on that, right?”
